WELCOME TO PROJECT P-38 LIGHTING! DONATIONS NEEDED!!! TAX DEFFERABLE

Welcome! My name is B. Alex Taylor and I started this website in 2002, just a few years ago, and I have continued running it ever since. The website is dedicated to the Lockheed P-38, naturally my favorite of all WW2 warbirds, and all warbirds of that era. What I hope to accomplish is two things. The first is to raise the funding to preserve the American warbird history of the P-38 Lightning, and the second to fund recovery and restoration projects of Lightning aircraft wrecks. I firmly believe this is a optainable goal as recovery and restoration projects have been done before, and with great success.
(updated 08/18/2008) Within the past few days I have come across extrodinary news. A viewer of the site has discovery a buried cache of Lightning aircraft from the close of the war. The location was hinted about by army personnel that worked at the base, and was later confired by gound mapping radar. What is needed is any charitable donations, or advice on how to setup the best means of transporting the aircraft back to the states, documentation needed, and working with the local government.
